Rocky View Schools is hiring a Math and Science Teacher for Middle School starting August 27, 2026, at Chestermere Lake Middle School. Share your passion for learning with students in grades 7-9.
This full-time teaching role requires an Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility. Educators will focus on fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment where students feel confident to explore mathematics and science. Join us in shaping the educational journey of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct middle school students in math and science
• Design engaging and effective lesson plans
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom culture
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance student learning
• Monitor student performance and provide guidance
Requirements:
• Alberta Teaching Certification or eligibility is necessary
• Recent graduates should submit final practicum report
• Professional reference letter from recent supervisor required
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required
