Lead the future of trades education at Foothills Composite High School as a CTS Instructor for Trades and Outdoor Education. This role emphasizes hands-on experience for high school students pursuing skills in fabrication and mechanics.
Working closely with a supervising teacher, you will help design programs that cater to individual learning needs. This position requires expertise in your designated trade, along with the ability to engage students effectively.
Your role will also encompass maintaining resources and providing crucial feedback to promote student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement individualized student programs
• Keep detailed records of student assessments
• Provide feedback on student performance with guidance
• Manage and organize educational resources for the curriculum
• Collaborate on financial record preparations
Requirements:
• Journeyperson qualification in a relevant trade
• Knowledge or experience in mechanics and fabrication
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to work directly with students
• Recent criminal record check within the last six months
