Position: School-Based Youth Development Coach Role
Join Foothills School Division as a Youth Development Coach and make a difference at Cameron Crossing. Prioritize social-emotional learning and assist students with behavioral challenges.

In this pivotal role, you'll focus on students in grades 7-12, implementing effective behavior management techniques. Your leadership will help improve social skills and self-esteem among students. It's essential to collaborate with staff and foster relationships with the community to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create behavior management plans alongside staff

• Facilitate social-emotional learning initiatives

• Mentor students to improve individual and group dynamics

• Develop strong connections with parents and local community

• Oversee programs for Junior High and High School students

Requirements:

• Diploma in Child & Youth Care or related education

• Experience with complex behavioral challenges in youth

• Training in nonviolent crisis intervention is beneficial

• Insight into adolescent development preferred

• Commitment of 32.5 work hours per week following school calendar
