This essential role aids neurodivergent students in navigating post-secondary challenges for approximately nine months. You'll coordinate support initiatives, consult with community partners like the Sinneave Foundation, and ensure a welcoming environment for students needing assistance. The position is primarily at U of C Main Campus, working 35 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide welcoming support for neurodivergent students
• Conduct mental health triage and assess student needs
• Collaborate with wellness and support teams on shared cases
• Maintain client files and ensure compliance with protocols
• Deliver programs and support for neurodivergent student populations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s preferred in relevant fields
• Minimum 2 years experience in student wellness roles
• Crisis intervention training and experience needed
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities
