Job Details Foothills School Division is currently seeking new graduate teachers to add to our Guest (Substitute) Teacher roster. The focus of this recruitment is to provide an employment opportunity for new graduates completing school this year. Guest Teaching is the perfect start to your teaching career allowing you to gain hands‑on experience in a variety of grades and subjects.
Responsibilities Engage students in learning.
Apply a variety of management strategies appropriate for the situation and minimize disruptions to student learning.
Integrate instruction to address the unique needs of each student.
Use technology and Smart Board.
Qualifications New graduate completing school this year.
Willing to teach all grades and subjects.
French as a Second Language considered an asset.
Available to work at least 50% of the school year and accept at least 50% of the dispatches offered.
