Position: Teaching Assistant for Young Children

As a Teaching/Therapeutic Assistant, you will work full-time during the school year, following set hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. This role requires flexibility and creativity to adapt to the needs of children. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in child development and an educational background relevant to supporting diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality care in alignment with Individual Program Plans

• Assist in planning and implementing classroom programs

• Follow daily lesson plans and engage actively in classroom activities

• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for parents and guardians

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Intervention Check
