As a Specialist focused on the Wilder Canada Action Plan, you will create and deliver training programs for wildlife conservation practitioners. Utilizing your skills in adaptive management and species monitoring, you'll ensure diverse groups can efficiently implement conservation translocations. Collaborate with fellow conservationists and community partners to achieve sustainable wildlife management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design training workshops for WIF program participants
• Assess training needs within the conservation community
• Support the creation of training resources and best practices
• Enhance relationships with applicants and grantees
• Assist in reporting conservation impact and funding needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree related to Conservation or Biology
• 3-5 years (with Master’s) or 5-7 years (with Bachelor’s) of experience
• Project management skills and teamwork capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and travel readiness
