The Werklund School of Education invites applications for three Sessional Instructor roles starting January 4, 2027. Candidates will teach integral graduate courses, prepare materials, assess students, and support academic growth. Key coursework includes EDER 604, focusing on communities of practice within research contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach online and on-campus graduate courses
• Prepare course materials and deliver engaging content
• Assess student performance effectively
• Provide academic support and mentorship
• Collaborate within educational teams and programs
Requirements:
• Doctorate (PhD or EdD) in Education or related field
• Proven teaching and leadership experience
• Experience in online/distance education
• Ability to work in collaborative educational cultures
• Knowledge of Educational Research specializations preferred
Contribute to graduate education by shaping future educators at the University of Calgary.
