Position Details
Rundle College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and collaborative teacher to teach 7-9 Science classes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish a warm, caring, and engaging learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and valued.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a personalized learning experience for all students.
Communicate effectively with parents to provide ongoing feedback and support.
Participate in faculty and professional meetings, assemblies, and various professional development opportunities.
Attend events, report for supervision, and contribute to the co‑curricular offerings, as is expected of a full‑time teacher at Rundle.
Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Knowledge, Skills & Technical Ability
Alberta Teaching Certification.
Have a police information check completed with a vulnerable sector verification within the last 6 months.
Must be flexible, collaborative, and have a positive, growth mindset.
Confident user of technology and able to utilize it in instructional practice.
Ability to develop strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and administration.
Demonstrate an open mind and the desire to improve practice through professional reading and/or participating in relevant professional development opportunities.
Previous experience working in an independent school is considered an asset.
Coaching experience is considered an asset.
