Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant
Join Horizon Leadership Academy in Calgary as a Full-Time Educational Assistant. Support students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 in an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

The Palliser School Division is seeking dedicated individuals for a temporary Educational Assistant role starting August 21, 2026. This full-time position involves supporting students with special needs and contributing to their Individual Program Plans. Experience in inclusive education and a relevant vocational certificate are key qualifications for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide educational instruction and technology support

• Input into Individual Program Plans and team meetings

• Maintain professional relationships within the learning team

• Communicate effectively with parents and team members

• Facilitate student self-esteem and independence

Requirements:

• Recognized post-secondary or vocational certificate

• Experience in inclusive learning environment

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certifications

• Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector clearance

• Social Insurance Number and Government
