We're seeking a ticketed Journeyman skilled in residential construction and finishing trades. This role emphasizes the importance of safety and innovation in teaching methods while mentoring students of various backgrounds. Collaborate closely with teachers to create a supportive educational atmosphere that promotes skill development and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate task allocation and skill monitoring
• Provide orientation and demonstrations of tools
• Document student achievements and challenges
• Assist with classroom safety protocols
• Manage ordering and maintenance of teaching materials
Requirements:
• Journeyperson certification in a construction trade
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Standard First Aid certification mandatory
• Preferred teaching experience with students
• Knowledge of construction sub-trades and practices
