Take on a vital role at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine as a Radiology Assistant Professor. This full-time position emphasizes teaching clinical skills and supporting student learning experiences from the start date of March 1, 2026.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is looking for one or two dedicated professionals for the Teaching stream. This assistant or associate professorship will involve instructing students in clinical labs, teaching rotations within partner practices, and engaging in collaborative research. You will also play a key role in university service and curricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct in clinical labs and didactic courses
• Mentor students during external clinical rotations
• Engage in collaborative research with interns and students
• Support course coordination and rotation management
• Participate in university service and scholarly contributions
Requirements:
• DVM (or equivalent) required; board certification preferred
• Strong evidence of teaching efficacy
• Graduate degree is an asset
• Must be eligible for Alberta licensure
