Rocky View Schools is looking for a Physical Education Teacher to join Springbank Community High School, starting August 27, 2026. This full-time position focuses on engaging students in grades 9-12.
As a Physical Education Teacher at RVS, you will contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all learners. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting physical fitness and well-being among students, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. Collaborate with a team that values community, innovation, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging physical education lessons
• Maintain a supportive and safe classroom environment
• Assess student engagement and adapt instruction as needed
• Work closely with other faculty for interdisciplinary initiatives
• Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities
Requirements:
• Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
• New graduates: submit final practicum report
• Provide a signed professional letter of reference
• Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Strong commitment to student development and well-being
