Become a vital part of Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 as a Certified Education Assistant, working part-time (29 hours/week) starting September 8, 2026. Support diverse students in a collaborative educational environment.

This position is ideal for professionals passionate about working with students with diverse abilities and creating inclusive learning experiences. As a Certified Education Assistant, you will assist in developing support services, collaborate with teachers, and engage with students to promote independence in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in Individual Educational Planning and team meetings

• Follow student safety plans as outlined

• Provide instructional and behavior management support

• Adapt classroom materials for individual needs

• Assist with personal care and medical procedures as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience with diverse abilities and special needs

• Training as a Certified Education Assistant preferred

• Strong interpersonal and adaptable skills

• Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
