Become part of Rocky View Schools as a full-time French Immersion Elementary School Generalist at East Lake Elementary starting August 27, 2026. Fluency in both English and French is essential for this rewarding position.
This role involves teaching in a French Immersion setting for grades K-9, where you'll provide support and guidance to a diverse student body. Candidates must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and be ready to submit a Criminal Record Check upon hiring. You'll contribute to fostering an inclusive learning environment aligned with the school division's values of Leadership and Community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach diverse subjects across the French Immersion curriculum
• Create engaging lesson plans that meet student needs
• Foster a positive classroom environment promoting learning

• Collaborate with staff and families to support student success
Requirements:
• Fluent in English and French
• Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Recent graduates may submit a final practicum report
• Submit a professional reference letter on company letterhead
• Current Criminal Record Check required
