Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Kindergarten Class Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3 to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs and fostering a love for learning. This role involves working closely with children, families, and colleagues to deliver high‑quality early childhood education that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's educational journeys by providing compassionate guidance and various teaching strategies. The government wage top ups will be added.

• Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for preschool and kindergarten students.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence.
• Support children's social‑emotional development through guidance, encouragement, and effective communication.
• Assess individual student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities, field trips, and special events.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, development milestones, and behavioral observations.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children in accordance with licensing regulations and best practices.

• Robust communication skills in English
• Experience in childcare, early childhood education, or classroom teaching preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple responsibilities.
• Leadership qualities to guide young learners and collaborate within a team setting.
• Writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communication.

• Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certificate (Level 2 or
  3)
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Clear Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search
• Valid Food Safety Certificate
