Temporary Junior High Teacher

Become a vital part of Al Amal Academy as a Temporary Junior High Teacher. This full-time role in Northwest Calgary will support Grades 7-9 students in their academic journey.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to inspire adolescents, fostering a classroom environment that emphasizes critical thinking and personal achievement. Design lessons that align with Alberta Education standards, while supporting literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills. Establishing strong relationships with both students and their families is a key aspect of this role.

Requirements:

• Requires a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Checks required

• Passion for education and working with adolescents

• Strong advocacy for inclusivity in education

• Effective communication skills essential
