The OpportunityRVS invites you to apply for a full‑time (1.0 FTE) French Immersion Elementary School Generalist position starting August 27, 2026, at East Lake Elementary School.
Fluency in English and French is a requirement for this position.
East Lake School is located in the City of Chestermere and serves French Immersion and English students from grades K‑9, including the Christian Program. For more information regarding this school, please visit
This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
Pre‑Employment Requirements- Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for a certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at
- The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of employment.
- Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference from their most recent supervisor, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months.
- New/Recent Graduates only:
In lieu of a reference letter please submit your final practicum report.
