Pursue a full-time teaching role at Verdant Valley Colony School, beginning August 26, 2026, as a Generalist Teacher for Kindergarten to Grade
8. Engage students with the Alberta curriculum.

Your strong knowledge of teaching strategies and effective technology use will greatly enhance the learning experience. Flexibility and strong classroom management skills are critical in instructing a multi-grade classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Alberta curriculum to diverse learners

• Cultivate an engaging and positive classroom environment

• Use effective teaching techniques and technology

• Adapt instruction to meet varied student needs

• Assess students’ progress and modify lessons as needed
Requirements:

• Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Experience or training in ESL is essential

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Prior experience in Hutterite Colony teaching preferred

• Required Criminal Record and Child Intervention Checks
