Position: Dynamic Teacher for Grades K-8 at Verdant Valley
Location: drumheller

Seeking an innovative Teacher for a full-time role at Verdant Valley Colony School, starting August 26, 2026. This position involves delivering the Alberta curriculum across multiple grades from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
The successful candidate will create an inspiring classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and curiosity. You will need sound knowledge of effective teaching strategies and strong communication skills to foster a supportive environment. Experience teaching English as a Second Language and the ability to manage a multi-grade class will be vital for this role.

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Training and experience in ESL preferred

• Previous experience in classroom management in multi-grade settings

• Teaching experience in a Hutterite Colony is advantageous

• Ability to provide necessary background checks
