Wildlife Conservation Training Specialist

You will leverage your conservation knowledge to create and deliver workshops for applicants and grantees of Wilder Impact Fund (WIF). With an emphasis on building capacity, this role involves collaborative relationships and engagement in community-led conservation practices to combat species extinctions across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop training programs for conservation translocation projects
• Coordinate and deliver virtual and in-person training workshops
• Conduct needs assessments with applicants and collaborators
• Create resources with internal and external conservation experts
• Monitor and report on training outcomes for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Wildlife Conservation or related field
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, or 3 to 5 with a Master’s
• Valid driver’s license and strong facilitation skills
• Experience with inclusive conservation practices
• Willingness to travel for training workshops
