Student Success Support Worker CFIS

Make a difference at Calgary French & International School as a Student Success Support Worker for Grades 6-12.

Your role will enhance student well-being through effective behavioral interventions and support.

At CFIS, the Student Success Support Worker is vital for creating a safe and inclusive environment. You will systematically monitor student behavior and provide support during emotional challenges. This position involves collaboration with school leadership and the Secondary Social & Emotional Youth Worker to ensure students receive structured social-emotional coaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavioral support strategies for students
during emotional dysregulation

• Facilitate restorative accountability sessions after incidents

• Supervise non-classroom areas and group activities

• Track and report student attendance and compliance

• Foster inclusive social interactions during lunchtime

Requirements:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Care or related discipline

• Preferred experience in youth work at schools

• French-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply

• Deep understanding of adolescent development

• Strong documentation and reporting precision
