The University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business invites applications for a Sessional Instructor in Fall 2026 to teach FNCE 477. This course covers key aspects of personal financial management.
As an instructor, you will deliver lectures on personal finance which include critical skills like goal setting, tax systems, and investment basics. Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while tutorials will occur on Fridays. Candidates with prior teaching experience in post-secondary education will be strongly favored for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive lectures for FNCE 477
• Guide students in financial statement analysis
• Administer assessments and provide course feedback
• Employ digital tools for classroom engagement
• Prepare robust instructional materials for students
Requirements:
• Eligible applicants must have an MBA degree
• Previous experience in teaching at the university level
