Position Overview

Term certain Sessional Instructor position for Winter 2027 in Educational Research and Educational Psychology at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. The term runs from January 4 to April 27, 2027. The instructor will teach online and on‑campus graduate courses that are integral parts of the graduate programs.

• Teach online and on‑campus graduate courses in Educational Research and Educational Psychology.
• Develop and deliver course content, assessments, and learning activities that align with program objectives.
• Provide timely feedback and support to graduate students.
• Engage in curriculum development and instructional design for graduate courses.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program quality improvement.

• Completed doctorate in education or related area.
• Evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in school, university, or workplace settings.
• Demonstrated experience in online/distance education.
• Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture.
• Knowledge and understanding of the graduate programs and specializations in Educational Research is considered an asset.
