Sessional Instructor – ACCT 323
University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business. The role is to teach Fall
2026 Introductory Managerial Accounting (ACCT
323). Classes run from September1 to December4,2026, with scheduled exams from December8 to December
18,2026 if applicable.
- Teach all ACCT
323 sections, delivering lectures on Mondays/Wednesdays and tutorials on Fridays according to the schedule below. - Ensure consistent and coordinated delivery across the four sections.
- Align curriculum and instructional materials with the Course Coordinator.
- Use digital education products such as Zoom and D2L to support learning.
- Maintain academic standards and record student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students through evaluations and office hours.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the course.
- Comply with all institutional policies and procedures.

01 – Monday/Wednesday 9:30am–10:45am, TUT
01 – Friday 9:00am–9:50am - LEC
02 – Monday/Wednesday 11:00am–12:15pm, TUT
02 – Friday 10:00am–10:50am - LEC
03 – Tuesday/Thursday 8:00am–9:15am, TUT
03 – Friday 11:00am–11:50am - LEC
04 – Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am–10:45am, TUT
04 – Friday 12:00pm–12:50pm
- Completion of a related undergraduate degree.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation from Canada.
- Previous post-secondary accounting teaching experience.
- Preference for experience teaching ACCT
323. - Experience with Zoom, D2L, or other digital education products.
