YMCA Calgary seeks an engaged Theatre Arts Instructor to inspire participants aged 6-17. Candidates should possess an associated degree or diploma in related fields and relevant teaching experience. You will prepare lesson plans, develop curriculum, and support youth in theatrical presentations, ensuring an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create lesson plans for theatre and performance skills

• Develop and input to the existing curriculum

• Facilitate a supportive learning environment for all participants

• Mentor volunteers in relevant class activities

• Oversee the creation and performance of theatrical presentations

Requirements:

• Associated degree or diploma in drama or performing arts

• Teaching experience with youth aged 6-17

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Cleared police security and vulnerable sector search

• Three professional references upon application
