The University of Calgary's Department of Electrical and Software Engineering seeks an instructor with at least a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field. Applicants must demonstrate expertise in system analysis and software design. A strong track record in teaching or the potential for excellent performance will be critically assessed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Present lectures on system analysis and software engineering
• Supervise lab sessions to apply theoretical knowledge
• Assess and grade student submissions based on coursework
• Engage students through innovative teaching methods
• Support students academically outside of classroom hours
Requirements:
• Minimum Master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge in course-related topics
• Evidence of teaching capability or a strong potential
• Preferred:
Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
• Canadian citizens and permanent residents are preferred
