Empower young minds as a STEM Specialist at Gobind Sarvar School for the  school year. Design engaging, hands-on learning experiences with a focus on creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.

GSS seeks a passionate individual to lead STEM education by planning project-based lessons aligned with the Alberta Curriculum. You will facilitate the engineering design process, integrating technology and robotics to enhance student learning. Critical thinking and collaboration among students will be at the core of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging STEM lessons

• Facilitate inquiry-based, project-based learning

• Develop students' critical thinking and creativity

• Integrate science and math through hands-on projects

• Assess student progress with meaningful feedback

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

• Minimum one year classroom teaching experience

• Strong understanding of Alberta's Program of Studies

• Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
