Position: Calgary Outdoor Kindergarten Teacher Role
Become a part-time Outdoor Kindergarten Teacher with Children's Commons Ecological Society in Calgary. Engage children in nature-focused learning to foster their development and curiosity.

This rewarding position requires a candidate who holds a Bachelor of Education and has experience with early childhood education, particularly within an emergent curriculum framework. You will teach a full-day kindergarten class, focus on collaborative lesson planning, and embrace teaching outdoors, emphasizing the value of the natural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons to a kindergarten class of 18 children

• Conduct evaluations aligned with educational goals

• Organize and manage outdoor classrooms effectively

• Collaborate with peers for planning and sharing responsibilities

• Ensure communication with families about students' learning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and Alberta Teaching Certificate or equivalent

• Experience in teaching 4-6 year olds, particularly in nature

• First aid certification must be current

• Must complete a criminal record check

• Flexible availability for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
