Lead the Internationally Educated Midwives Bridging Program at Mount Royal University, Calgary. This hybrid part-time role focuses on coordinating assessments and supporting educational pathways for internationally educated midwives.
As the Program Coordinator, you will oversee crucial tasks that assist internationally educated midwives in Alberta.
Your role includes collaborating with faculty, clinical partners, and regulatory organizations to support learners' academic journeys. Additionally, you will manage program documentation and ensure that curriculum delivery meets educational standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop partnerships with midwifery organizations
• Coordinate communication among stakeholders
• Manage student intake and assessment processes
• Provide academic advisement to midwifery students
• Support continuous improvement of program materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in midwifery or related field
• Eligible for registration as a Midwife in Canada
• Active midwifery practice experience
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Proficiency in office software and management systems
