Position: Engaging Multi-Grade Teacher Needed
Location: Hanna

Handhills Colony School seeks a dedicated teacher for a full-time position beginning August 26, 2026. Deliver the Alberta curriculum to a diverse student group from Kindergarten to Grade 8.

As a key team member, you will engage students across various ages while creating a nurturing and developmental classroom environment. This role demands flexibility and strong classroom management skills, along with experience in integrating educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Alberta curriculum to Kindergarten through Grade 8

• Create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere

• Employ effective teaching strategies and technology

• Adapt instruction to diverse learning needs

• Work collaboratively within a small school environment

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• ESL training and experience required

• Strong communication and instructional skills

• Previous experience in Hutterite Colony schools as an asset

• Obtain a current Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check
