Rundle College Society (“Rundle”) was founded in 1985 and provides an outstanding educational experience for approximately 1,250 students in kindergarten through grade 12. In addition to academic achievement, Rundle's programs emphasize character development, leadership training, and good citizenship.

The Academy and Studio programs meet the needs of students who have a diagnosed learning disability, with or without ADHD. Our students are in the average to above-average range of intellectual functioning but have difficulties with specific academic activities and skills. Rundle Studio does this in a dynamic, interactive online learning environment.

Rundle College is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, collaborative and flexible teacher to join our Primary and Elementary team.

• Provide optimum learning experiences in the core curricular areas:
  Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies
• Foster classroom routines that increase and enhance engagement
• Collaborate with grade team teachers to create interdisciplinary units of study and a parallel program
• Establish a warm, nurturing, kind, caring learning environment where students feel safe, respected and valued
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, administration and students
• Be willing to go above and beyond to contribute to and embrace the culture of the Elementary
• Contribute to the co-curricular programming within the Rundle College community

• Demonstrate an open mind and the desire to improve practice through professional reading and/or participating in relevant professional development opportunities
• Ability to develop strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and administration
• Must be flexible, collaborative and have a positive, growth mindset
• Alberta Teaching Certification
• Have a police information check completed with a vulnerable sector verification within the last 6 months
