Become a part of Rocky View Schools' mission as a full time Learning Support Teacher. Your expertise in guiding students with unique learning needs will be crucial at Chestermere Lake Middle School.
This role focuses on supporting middle school students in grades 7-9, ensuring every learner can thrive. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of teaching experience and a strong background in special education or inclusive practices. Applicants must be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop specialized learning plans for students
- Work with school staff to implement inclusive education strategies
- Track and report on student learning outcomes
- Create a nurturing environment for all learners
- Engage with families to discuss student progress
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting
- Experience in Learning Supports or Inclusive Education
- Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Must pass a Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Provide a professional letter of reference
