Early Childhood Assistant Director

Position: Early Childhood Assistant Director Role
Elevate early childhood education as the Assistant Director with 1st Class. This role involves leadership, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with the Alberta Childcare Licensing Act.

The Assistant Director is essential in supporting program functions and nurturing young children's development. Collaborate closely with the Director while mentoring staff and maintaining administrative records to align with the philosophy of 1st Class. You will focus on compliance, training, parent communication, and ensuring a safe, organized environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director to oversee program operations

• Mentor staff through ongoing coaching and training

• Ensure compliance with licensing and health regulations

• Maintain accurate children's attendance records

• Address parent concerns and resolve issues

Requirements:

• Level 2 Early Childhood Educator Certificate

• Up-to-date Police Clearance for vulnerable sector

• Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate

• Experience managing a team preferred

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
