Become an Educational Assistant at West Meadow Elementary School in Claresholm, Alberta. This temporary role focuses on enhancing children's learning through play in a supportive environment.
Starting on August 26th, 2026, and concluding on June 25th, 2027, this position requires a candidate knowledgeable in child development, particularly for ages 5–12. You will be responsible for implementing play-based learning while collaborating with school staff to ensure an inclusive setting that meets the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate play-based learning as per Alberta regulations

• Provide assistance with toileting and diapering

• Work alongside the Early Learning Coordinator

• Create a caring and inclusive classroom environment

• Engage in required professional development activities
Requirements:

• Level 1 Early Childhood Educator or willingness to complete training

• Current Police Information and Intervention Record Checks

• Experience supporting children aged 5–12

• Exceptional communication and relationship skills

• First Aid certification is an asset
Support the learning and development of students at West Meadow Elementary as a dedicated Educational Assistant.
