Residence Life Coordinator

Position: Full-time Residence Life Coordinator Role
Advance student communities as a Full-time Temporary Residence Life Coordinator at the University of Calgary. Drive Residence Education initiatives and foster connections with resources for student success.

This position focuses on interpreting and implementing Residence Services' educational components. The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) oversees operations in a designated area while collaborating on multi-area projects. Engage with students, staff, and volunteers, guiding them to resources that aid in personal ownership of challenges and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and supervise Community Advisors and senior staff

• Attend departmental and student association meetings regularly

• Approach campus committees addressing student needs

• Maintain Residence Community Standards diligently

• Create and oversee student development programs

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a related field strongly preferred

• Two years’ experience as a resident/community advisor

• Experience in managing conflict and emergency responses

• Strong communication and organizational skills required

• Valid driver's license strongly preferred
