Qualified candidates should have completed a Ph.D. or be nearing completion of their doctoral studies. Proficiency in Spanish and English is required, as well as experience teaching at the university level. This role is an excellent opportunity to make language learning accessible and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead SPAN 201, Beginners' Spanish I lectures
• Conduct classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 13:45
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assess student performance with timely feedback
• Work with faculty to enhance course materials
Requirements:
• Ph.D. or doctoral candidacy completion expected
• Fluency in Spanish and English necessary
• Proven university teaching experience required
• Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
• Commitment to diversity and equity in teaching
