This temporary full-time role focuses on planning, delivering, and assessing the Grade 6 curriculum according to Alberta Education guidelines. As a dedicated educator, you'll utilize diverse instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. Collaboration with peers and communication with parents will be key in this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver instructional activities following guidelines
• Assess student performance and maintain accurate records
• Establish classroom rules and enforce behavioral expectations
• Prepare students for future learning by encouraging exploration
• Collaborate with staff to develop and evaluate programs
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Experience with elementary curriculum implementation
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
• Commitment to Christian education and values
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners
