Part Time Youth Coordinator at YMCA

Make a difference in youth programming at YMCA Calgary as a part-time Youth Coordinator. You will facilitate engaging activities while promoting health and wellness across the community.

As a Youth Coordinator, you’ll deliver strength-based recreation and youth engagement programs tailored for Grade 6 students.

Your role includes direct program delivery at various YMCA locations and supporting staff development. You will need a proactive approach to foster a safe, engaging atmosphere while implementing health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Calgary Flames Grade 6 program effectively

• Participate in Flames Friday and Alumni gatherings

• Assist in the development of youth initiatives

• Support recruitment and training of volunteers

• Serve as a YMCA Calgary annual campaign ambassador

Requirements:

• Experience in youth programming and customer service

• Skills in behavior management and team collaboration

• Current Standard First Aid certification

• Clear Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

• Oral and written communication competency
