Learning Lead at Providence

Lead early learning programs at Providence in Calgary as a full-time Learning Lead. This role emphasizes educational leadership and mentorship while supporting children and families in specialized programs.

As part of the Providence Learning Lead Team, you will supervise and enhance early learning education for young children in an inclusive environment. The ideal candidate holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and an Alberta Teacher Certificate, bringing extensive knowledge of teaching strategies for children with complex needs. Providing in-class coaching and guidance will be crucial to ensure effective teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise early learning programming for young children

• Provide instructional leadership and mentorship to staff

• Support classrooms actively with coaching and guidance

• Engage parents to address programming concerns

• Participate in training and planning sessions

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Interim/Permanent Teacher Certificate

• Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership required

• Experience with children displaying challenging behavior

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate, driver's license, and own vehicle
