BCEM 411 Sessional Instructor – Fall 2026

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all components of the BCEM 411 course, including lecture delivery, labs, tutorials, and associated duties such as preparation and assessment of course material. The instructor will design and run laboratory sessions covering protein purification and characterization, bioinformatics, chromatography, electrophoresis, enzyme assays, antibodies, and protein–protein interaction studies.
Course OverviewBCEM 411 – Laboratory Techniques I focuses on practical laboratory experience in biochemistry, particularly protein purification and characterization techniques.
Term Dates: Monday, August 24, 2026 – Thursday, December 24, 2026

Schedule:
Lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 09:30–10:45
- Minimum MSc in a biological science;
PhD preferred. - Expertise in biochemistry laboratory techniques, especially protein purification and characterization.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness; prior teaching experience in similar courses preferred.
