The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary is hiring a Sessional Instructor for Fall 2026. Teach Decision Support Application Development using VBA programming skills.
This appointment covers the BTMA 459 course from September 1 to December 4, 2026. Candidates should have an MBA, or a PhD with teaching experience. Familiarity with VBA is critical for instructing students on building applications that aid in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses on decision support systems
• Evaluate and grade student projects and exams
• Create and present engaging class lectures
• Support students in developing applications
• Develop course content focused on VBA
Requirements:
• MBA or PhD/PhD ABD in Business Technology Management
• Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution
• Strong proficiency in VBA programming
• Ability to support diverse learners
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
