Become the primary instructor for Neuroscience 201 at the University of Calgary starting August 1, 2026. Focus on curriculum innovation and creating an engaging, inclusive classroom experience.
In this role, you will take the reins for Neuroscience 201, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the fall term. Your responsibilities include designing course content that integrates applied neuroscience concepts while providing an interactive and inclusive learning environment. Mentorship and student engagement are key components of your teaching approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and present comprehensive course materials
• Facilitate lectures and encourage discussion
• Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
• Provide feedback and mentoring for student success
• Stay updated with latest neuroscience research trends
Requirements:
• Ph.D. or terminal degree in neuroscience or related fields
• Proven previous university teaching experience
