Position: Operations Management Instructor Fall 2026

The University of Calgary is inviting applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Operations Management during the Fall semester. The position requires a graduate degree or relevant work experience and recent teaching experience in a post-secondary setting. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to enhance curriculum through case-based and experiential learning while engaging undergraduate students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Operations Management course on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm

• Develop curriculum with case-based learning approaches

• Foster engagement and participation among students

• Analyze operational workflows for teaching purposes

• Manage day-to-day and strategic decision-making topics

Requirements:

• Graduate degree or relevant work experience

• Recent teaching experience in Operations Management

• Demonstrated ability for curriculum development

• Reside near Calgary for in-person instruction

• Ability to engage undergraduate students in learning
