Kinesiology Course Instructors Winter

Position: Kinesiology Course Instructors for Winter 2027
The University of Calgary is seeking passionate Sessional Instructors for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 courses in Kinesiology. This role focuses on teaching diverse courses while promoting equity and inclusion in physical activity education.

Successful applicants will teach courses such as Human Growth and Development and Cerebral Blood Flow. Candidates should have a PhD in Kinesiology or a relevant master's degree along with university teaching experience. Your ability to engage students and promote an inclusive environment will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and assess students in various kinesiology courses

• Create an inclusive classroom environment

• Provide constructive feedback on assignments

• Utilize both in-person and online teaching methods

• Participate in faculty meetings for curriculum development

Requirements:

• PhD in Kinesiology or a related field

• Proven teaching experience at the university level

• Exceptional communication skills with diverse groups

• Experience in virtual teaching is an asset

• Submission of letters of reference required
