Position: 2026 Seasonal Paddlesports Teaching Role
Become a key part of AQ Outdoors’ teaching team in the 2026 season as a Paddlesports Instructor. Lead diverse paddle sports courses and inspire learners of all ages in a supportive environment.

AQ Outdoors / Aquabatics Calgary Ltd is looking for skilled seasonal instructors holding L2/I2 or L3/I3 certifications to facilitate its dynamic education programs. Candidates should be passionate about paddling and eager to share that enthusiasm through effective teaching methods. The role involves working closely with various paddlers and developing your own technical skills alongside those of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction across a range of paddle sports disciplines

• Support program delivery through collaboration and independence

• Ensure gear readiness and undertake maintenance

• Help with administrational tasks and logistical operations

• Engage in continuous training for educational excellence

Requirements:

• Valid L2/I2 or L3/I3 certification or equivalent

• Experience with youth paddle sports instruction

• Current 40-Hour Wilderness First Aid certification

• Legal authorization to work in Canada

• Outdoor education diploma is advantageous
