Early Learning College Learning Support

Support Early Learning and Child Care students at MaKami College as a Learning Assistant. Provide essential academic assistance and help foster a supportive learning environment for student success.

In this role, you will focus on empowering ELCC students through individualized attention and comprehensive academic support. You will assist in clarifying course material, promote effective study habits, and guide students in using Moodle for their learning needs.

Your role is vital in addressing challenges and encouraging active engagement in their education journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate individualized academic support to ELCC students

• Aid in the mastery of course concepts and expectations

• Monitor student progress and communicate with faculty

• Encourage participation and engagement in learning activities

• Support classroom learning as needed with professionalism

Requirements:

• Early Learning and Child Care Level 2 certificate is mandatory

• Experience in student support or education preferred

• Understanding of adult learning principles is beneficial

• Strong communication skills with a supportive approach

• Ability to assist diverse learners with patience
