Sessional instructors will teach online and on campus graduate courses that are integral parts of the graduate programs.

EDPS 683 - Consultation in School PsychologyDelivery:
On campus
This course introduces models of consultation as an indirect provision of services whereby school psychologists work with others (school staff, parents) who, in turn, work directly with students to ameliorate academic and social‑emotional difficulties. Emphasis is given within this class to the development of specific EDPS 683 techniques in consultation. It is expected that this course will provide foundational knowledge and skills in consultation, which will be further developed and refined within the program’s two required practicum courses.
Position RequirementsEducational Psychology:
Educational Psychology consists of Educational Studies in Counselling Psychology and in School and Applied Child Psychology.
Desired qualifications include:
- A completed doctorate in psychology or a related field, registration as a psychologist.
- Evidence of successful teaching and leadership experience in workplace, university or school settings.
- Demonstrated experience in online/distance education for courses delivered online or in a blended format.
- Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative culture.
- Knowledge and understanding of the programs and specializations in Educational Psychology will also be considered as assets for the sessional teaching positions.
