Brass Lessons Teacher

Share your musical talents as a Brass Lessons Teacher at Long & McQuade in Calgary. This contract role requires weeknight and weekend availability to guide students in brass instruments.

As an independent contractor, you'll deliver lessons in a supportive environment. Long & McQuade offers on-site Lesson Centres for a variety of instruments, providing a great platform for your teaching skills. Previous teaching experience with diverse age groups is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized brass lessons for students of different ages

• Implement standard teaching methods and lesson plans

• Assess student progress and adjust teaching approaches

• Collaborate with other music instructors to enhance lesson quality

• Maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Previous teaching experience with a variety of students

• Knowledge of lesson curriculum for private/group lessons

• Professional equivalency may be accepted
