Early Childhood Educator Date:
August 12 to August 18, 2026 from 9am to 5pm (8 hours daily). Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. This role involves fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children to support their developmental growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with disabilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives through innovative teaching and caregiving practices.
Duties- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the individual needs of each child
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate assistance
- Observe and document children's progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring additional support
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development milestones
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and team members
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to manage a dynamic learning environment
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering a supportive learning atmosphere
- Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety standards required for working with young children
